CARS AND DRIVERS

For this assignment, I wanted to explore the relationship between people and their vehicles, focusing on how cars become extensions of identity, routine, and personal history. Rather than treating cars as static objects, I centered the individuals behind the wheel to capture them in moments of stillness, pride, and familiarity.

At its core, this project for Southeast Ohio Magazine was about community—showing how this dirt-track racing event had many components that made the engine run, just like the cars they were driving.
