Amongst the many passions I have in life, one through-line is people. Whether it’s a singular figure, an internet community, or any other variance; I strive to tell the stories, improve life, and champion those that need their voice heard.

I was lucky enough to be raised in a community that offered the ability to be surrounded by and understand many levels of diversity; from race, ethnicity, gender and sexuality, to the differences in class, education level, and political lines.

This well-rounded upbringing shaped me into being a person that cares deeply about the work environments I’m put into, a person that finds inspiration creatively from all walks of life, and someone who feels uncomfortable in situations that lack diversity.

After high school, I studied journalism at Ohio University, where all I knew was “tell stories.” I was able to learn some of my biggest life lessons while on the ground reporting, interviewing and talking to individuals about a multitude of life tragedies, benchmarks and stories.

My journalism work eventually led me to marketing, as it often does these days. From there, I realized that being raised on the internet was something that unknowingly prepared me for the wave of social media marketing that was about to take over.

Since being in social media, I’ve been able to have my hands on some cool projects, and even grow my own following on certain channels. I love having an idea for a brand and getting to see it come to life, using Twitter as a second screen while watching a show or sporting event, and of course meeting someone IRL that I met on social.

Some of my interests and passions outside of work include:

  • NBA basketball

  • TV and Movies

  • Photography

  • Working Out

  • Productive Weekend Mornings

  • Reading of All Sorts

  • Chicken Wings

  • Procrastinating on Photoshop
